I came to this Impermanent World on the 14th of February of 1973.

I Love Science, Music, Books, Travel and Photography.
Science and Music is my understanding of the world, two languages independent of race or religion.
Books and traveling it’s my way to explore the world. Photography, as I believe that everything is impermanent,
it’s how I see and register a moment, that it’s unrepeatable, but will last forever. 

Husband and Father, I met my wife in 1991 and we married in 1999,
She is the “rails" of my "train" and the “helm" of our Family "boat”.
In 2004 one of the most important moments of our Life’s, the birth of our Daughter, that transformed everything around.
In 2010, the second event, the birth of our Son.

Back to 1996, in my last academic year I decided to focus my Physics Engineering degree to the Medical Physics/Healthcare field, it was a calling, a way to help the other.

Since there I had the opportunity to build up a rewarding career as a Senior Executive with consolidated professional experience in Healthcare Business, Public and Private sectors.

I have a Broader knowledge in Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical Industry, Diagnostic Equipment and Laboratory Medicine Markets acquired within big Multinational Companies in Team Leadership Positions, Country Manager, Commercial Director and Sales Manager.

I have also an high level of change management skills, with goal-oriented approach, collaborative builder incorporating Sales, Marketing, Service, Finance and people management as contributors for success. 

With a Strong Customer Centric orientation, developing long term partnerships based on consultancy (“challenger”) approach.

During my Professional progression I always tried to complement my Scientific knowledge with Education in other areas.
That’s why in 2001 I made a Post Graduation in Healthcare Engineer at Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
And in 2015 I gather a broader view of Business Management with the Executive MBA from INDEG / ISCTE.
The companies that I work for, have also provided me with excellent Development opportunities.
I would like to highlight the following 3, from many others that contributed to my professional evolution:
The Strategic Negotiations from Harvard Business School, went to Boston and learn directly from the book authors, “ Getting to Yes”, one of references in Negotiation literature, was an amazing experience.
The Foundations Of Economic Evaluation in Healthcare at Centre for Health Economics from University of York in UK, where from Professor Michael Drummond, I learned the methodology and practice of economic evaluation in Healthcare.
I also made the LIM, Leadership, Innovation and Management from Innova Institut, where in a very practical approach, better saying, an Experience approach I “dive” in my role as Leader, Manager and Innovator. 

I’m a lifelong learner and in 2020 I decided to deep my focus in helping others on impactful transitions, so I’m a Professional Coach- ICF certified(ACTP)and Certified facilitator of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method and materials.
