Play – Lifelong Development

Play is something very natural during our childhood, it’s on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

On the Article 31, says: “States Parties recognize the right of the child to rest and leisure, to engage in play and recreational activities appropriate to the age of the child and to participate freely in cultural life and the arts.”

But imagine that Play is not an activity appropriated to the age in childhood, but something that You do at any age, also as adult.

Play is probably the most important activity for child learning and development, so, why we consider that at a certain age, we do not need more.

Lifelong Playing is fundamental for personal and professional grow.

Organizations should promote more Playing in order to development more strategic thinking, adapt to change, creativity and collaborative work, among People and Teams.

One of the most impactful methods to promote Strategic Thinking and Adapt to Change is LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®.

The idea of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology originated in 1996 when the two professors Johan Roos and Bart Victor at IMD in Switzerland and LEGO Group CEO and owner Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen were exploring alternative strategic planning tools and systems.

The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology is built upon a process which stems from the heart of LEGO elements and the LEGO building system. Looking for a tool to unlock imagination and innovation within the company.

I am developing myself, very intensively as LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitator, check here for my services.
